With millions tracking her on Twitter, Nicki Minaj may still lag far behind contemporaries such as John Mayer and Lady Gaga. All the same, popularity of this famous rapper goes far beyond those that follow her on Twitter. This spirited singer has succeeded in making a prominent spot deep in the very hearts of devotees, by way of popular super hit singles, duets, and Nicki Minaj quotes; the same as her fiery talks and looks.
As a professional, Nicki Minaj has made her mark on the scene with her lyrical songs. Besides, she has already been places, being the only performer who has had seven songs running on the Hot 100 Billboard at one time. Nicki has succeeded in breaking a number of other records as well, bringing her name to the apex. Not only earning fans by their millions, but an array of strong haters as well. On Twitter, she lets her tongue really loose with Nicki Minaj quotes. She expressively stretches herself out to both her unyielding admirers and haters, dealing with each group in a self professed manner. Nicki Minaj quotes cover the entire vista, ranging from love, jealousy, career, life to fame, boys, money and peer pressure. When it comes to Twitter, Nicki Minaj really lets everyone know her inner feelings regarding almost everything perceivable.
John Lennon dreamt of peace for the whole world. He played a prominent role as a vividly outspoken voice, artist and poet of the prevailing hippie generation of that era. He managed to fulfill the functions of a renowned peace artist, influential musician, husband, devoted lover, and absent father. He scoffed at normality, abused drugs and alcohol, but still spared time from his career of rock and roll to bring up his son. Above all, he was a diehard Beatle. He simply was, as he still is, the admired John Lennon, as well as the writer of John Lennon quotes.
In December 1980, John Lennon was shot by an obsessive fan. As millions lamented, the entire world joined to mourn the death of a celebrity who was the very soul of one of the greatest roll and roll musical groups. Today, he is remembered through John Lennon quotes.
Among memorable and popular Nicki Minaj quotes on Twitter “A lot of people send me direct messages on twitter telling me what they’re going through…” is of particular interest. With reference to John Lennon quotes, his family and devoted fans lovingly recollect his special gift to them.

‘Where am I going to sleep tonight?’ Amir wakes up with a start. Every day, just like an alarm clock, Amir wakes up to that question. Or is it the creeping dampness of the ground under the railway bridge that finally forces him to move? He doesn’t know, even if he did know it wouldn’t matter, because move he must.
How many years has it been now since he fell into this restless life? 3, maybe 4…time has stretched like the skin on the face of an old man. A meaningless collection of doorways, scavenging and petty crime. Always hoping tomorrow will be better. Hanging on for the light, or the warmth, or the smile of a stranger.
There’s another thought in Amir’s head. Something a ragged man had told him a long time ago ‘sometimes you find yourself at the mercy of strangers’. Why is mercy so hard to find? There are always plenty of people to ignore his dusty, bedraggled life. Busy people with too many cares of their own. Running to catch a train, to meet a friend or sometimes to shelter right beside him in a doorway to avoid the rain.
‘I am invisible’ thought Amir. ’But if I am invisible, why can I not take a loaf of warm bread from a baker’s cart without being seen?’ It seems to Amir that people see him when they want to.
So Amir’s day unfolds. He walks fast to shake the dampness from his bones, he visits the back of a different restaurant each day to appease his protesting stomach, sometimes when the sun is shining he will stop because it feels like arms around his weary body.
It feels like mercy.
Today though, Amir’s day will be different. Today, Amir will meet an old woman. Amir will think that she looks like she is dressed in tablecloths of blue and white. He will see an old woman who looks like she has travelled the world for thousands of years. She will take his ravaged hands in her bony, hard worn hands and she will lead him to safety. It will feel like mercy.
Sometimes a day can rise or fall on a word, an email or simply when someone stops to see the beauty in you. I hope you have a day that rises up to meet you with mercy.
God loves you, let Him take your hands today.
‘Mercy is like God, it is infinite and eternal. Mercy is always on the throne.’ James Smith, quoted by Charles Spurgeon in A Treasury of David

A Godly Dance at the Taj

From Trey Ratcliff:
I was barefoot like the rest of them.
The day must have been around 95 degrees and as stuffy as can be, but the cool marble seemed to keep me from being drenched in sweat. After a long walk, I had finally made it to the inner core of the Taj Mahal, around the main tomb structure where pilgrims from all over the country had gravitated. The faithful coiled in long lines and snaked their way around the complex, waiting patiently to reflect at the megamausoleum and communing with the god of their choice. How could a billion people be wrong?
When I travel, I actually always enjoy talking to Indians (or whoever) about their religion. Here is a little thing I do… I’m not sure it’s totally ethical since I say the same thing over and over, but I enjoy seeing people’s reaction as a probe a panoply of personalities. Inevitably, when I’m in a taxi or man-powered trike-mobile, there is some sort of deity that is jiggling about on the dashboard or handlebars. It can be anyone from Shiva to Brahma to Vishnu to Krishna to Ganesha and beyond.
So, I always ask, "Who is the god to whom you pay reverence?"
They respond quickly and directly, usually naming one from of the top ten from the pantheon of possibilities.
I respond back, in all seriousness, "Oh! He is a very powerful god!"
To this, they always turn to me and nod gravely.
My guide there was from no from one of the traditional Hindu sects — he was a Jain. The Jain don’t recognize the divine origins of the Vedas (made popular in the US from Oppenheimer’s re-quote after testing the Bomb), nor do they believe in any one supreme deity. They instead revere Tirthankaras who have raised themselves to divine perfection. So anyway, if you ever try out the little trick above, don’t bother with a Jain because they will just give you a funny look and a wobble of inconsequential solitude.
So if any of you get the chance to go, I recommend it. The people are all nice as can be and very eager to engage in conversation about just about everything. Or, of you’ve already been, then you know what I mean!

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
Quote from: Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
1:1-8 Those who are beloved of Christ, will love the brethren for his sake. Soul prosperity is the greatest blessing on this side heaven. Grace and health are rich companions. Grace will employ health. A rich soul may be lodged in a weak body; and grace must then be exercised in submitting to such a dispensation. But we may wish and pray that those who have prosperous souls, may have healthful bodies; that their grace may shine where there is still more room for activity. How many professors there are, about whom the apostle’s words must be reversed, and we must earnestly wish and pray that their souls might prosper, as their health and circumstances do! True faith will work by love. A good report is due from those who receive good; they could not but testify to the church, what they found and felt. Good men will rejoice in the soul prosperity of others; and they are glad to hear of the grace and goodness of others. And as it is a joy to good parents, it will be a joy to good ministers, to see their people adorn their profession. Gaius overlooked petty differences among serious Christians, and freely helped all who bore the image, and did the work of Christ. He was upright in what he did, as a faithful servant. Faithful souls can hear their own praises without being puffed up; the commendation of what is good in them, lays them at the foot of the cross of Christ. Christians should consider not only what they must do, but what they may do; and should do even the common actions of life, and of good-will, after a godly sort, serving God therein, and designing his glory. Those who freely make known Christ’s gospel, should be helped by others to whom God gives the means. Those who cannot themselves proclaim it, may yet receive, help, and countenance those who do so.
A Day in the Life : Early in the morning, as my night shift work ends. I toked photos on a rugged path way as I walked along with our workers while leaving the project site. It is a calm and quite morning which I can feel only the gentle and cool breeze from the misty river nearby. The sound of heavy equipments running the whole night was completely shutdown and it seems I am fully decompressed from the work pressure..a wonderful easy feeling just like walking along a beautiful park. These moments reminds me of our Lord’s presence at this very poor, but beautiful & quite country side of Laos. ~ Tito @ flickr
